Trying Again

So this is blog number four or five.  I start these things, don't keep them up for awhile and forget the password.

The chickens have started to lay.  Yesterday I had 7 eggs out of 11 hens.  Five hens lay brown and six lay green eggs.  I had five brown eggs and two green eggs.  Guess who the slackers are.  Soon I will be back up selling fresh eggs.

We need to find a new home for Greta, the shepherd/llhasa apso mix.  She's four years old, spayed and loves attention.  Sweet dog but her and little poodle mix Bailey aren't getting along so great.  We got Bailey from the shelter before we got Greta.  We are pretty positive that Bailey had been abused/neglected before she was picked up as a stray.

Alex is wrestling again this year.  He has won as high as 2nd place.  This is the one sport he competes in that I can't stand.  He has another meet on Wednesday and being a stay at home mom I will be going.  He tries so hard.  Be glad when track starts.

Andy is chomping at the bit for spring to get here.  He has some seeds started for this year's garden.  Wants to put up the greenhouse he got for Christmas.  I will just be glad to see the end of the snow and cold.

Peter and I are both looking for jobs.  Peter has been at his job for 20 years but business has slowed so not as great as income and he gets no benefits.  Except for the athletic event attendance, I get kind of bored at home so I spent too much time on the computer.
